If you’re like me, you probably don’t have a consistent and strict health and well-being strategy. I go through phases of meditating most days, then something breaks my routine and I stop meditating for a while. Or I go to the gym 2-3 times a week then I go on holiday or get busy with social events or looking after family and don’t have or make the time to go.

Over the last 10-15 years I’ve had problems with high blood pressure. I’ve been on medication but I changed my diet (went gluten free) and did a lot of emotional clearing work using hypnotherapy, EFT and meditation. I became much calmer and responded to life events with less stress. My blood pressure (BP) reduced to the point that I could stop the medication – hurrah!

I check my BP regularly and noticed that is has started creeping back up. I have regular massages which keep my muscles loose and pain-free. I eat healthily and exercise regularly to keep my health and weight in check. I now realise that I need to keep up with the hypnotherapy, EFT and meditation to keep my BP at a safe level without the need for medication.

So, lesson learnt – it’s not just a case of reaching a health and well-being goal and then stopping. It’s about on-going maintenance – making sure that all elements of my health and well-being are being nurtured on a regular basis.
